Watkins Glen State Park

is the crowning jewel of Schuyler County parks and one of the flagship parks of the New York State Parks system. It features 19 waterfalls in 2 miles. The gorge path winds over and under waterfalls and through the cascading spray of caverns. The Rim Trail overlooks the gorge and is open year-round. It is also dog-friendly, whereas dogs are not permitted on the Gorge Trail. You can stay at the park thanks to the tent and trailer camping. Clute Park

(155 S. Clute Park Drive, Watkins Glen, NY) is located directly on the southern shore of Seneca Lake, offering 35 acres of recreation and lakefront bliss within walking distance of downtown Watkins Glen. The park boasts tennis courts, a soccer field, swimming, bathhouses, picnic tables, a playground, skate park, grills, ball field, camping, and even a boat launch. Be sure to check out Movies on the Lake on Wednesdays in July and August. Havana Glen Park

(135 Havana Glen Road, Montour Falls, NY) is located at the southern end of the village of Montour Falls. Enjoy ball fields, playgrounds, camping, and a beautiful short hike to the incredible Eagle Cliff Falls. The park also provides birding, with over 100 species having been documented here. LaFayette Park

(corner of 4th and Decatur Streets, Watkins Glen, NY) has a playground, picnic tables, a bandstand where there is live music every Tuesday during July and August, and the Watkins Glen Farmers Market takes place here as well every Friday from May through October. Smith Park

(5303 Lake Avenue, Hector, NY) is just 9 miles north of Watkins Glen on the east side of Seneca Lake. This beautiful waterfront park offers a camping, picnicking, a boat launch, swimming beach, and shower facilities. For more information, please click here.
