Families and Children

Watkins Glen and Schuyler County is a great place to bring the WHOLE family!

There are several locations throughout Schuyler County where you can take the family to visit our soft and fuzzy friends. Get up and close with the animals and even have the opportunity to pet them and maybe even feed them!

Once you feed the animals, maybe it is time to feed yourselves.  Take the family to one of the many family-friendly restaurants or enjoy a picnic lunch at the many parks in and around Watkins Glen. 
After lunch, maybe you are ready to run, swim or play. Its up to you. You can take a bike ride on the trails, or take a swim in Seneca Lake, or play on the playgrounds and more. You get the idea. Use your imagination and the possibilities are endless, especially with the help of what Schuyler County has to offer!

When the afternoon comes to an end and the evening is upon you, you could see a movie at the local theater or just walk down to the lake by the beautifully lit pier house walkway and then sit at the end and enjoy the view.  Of course no vacation is complete without stopping to get some ice cream though!
