Business Education Committee

The vision of the Business Education Committee is to unite adults of all ages so that they may be successful and knowledgeable throughout the community. Activities include: offering networking and business related educational opportunities to the community, assisting young adults with life skills needed to succeed in the work environment and integrating and supporting the business community with young adults.
Meetings: The committee meets the 3rd Friday of every month at 8:45 a.m. at the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce office.
Government Affairs Committee
The purpose of the Government Affairs Committee is to tackle important and timely issues affecting small and large businesses alike. It also hosts an annual advocacy forum featuring local, statewide and national political representatives; often in partnership with neighboring Chambers of Commerce.
Meetings: The committee meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 2:30 p.m. at the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce office.
Membership Committee

The purpose of the Membership Committee is to promote the Chamber to potential investors and encourage continued participation from present members. Activities include: continual membership recruitment and an open ear to concerns and wishes of the Chamber Membership.
Meetings: The committee meets the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:30 a.m. at the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce office.
Tourism Roundtable Committee
The purpose of the Tourism Roundtable Committee is for local tourism industry professionals and business owners to gather together as a focus group to discuss Schuyler County tourism and marketing efforts and trends. The committee receives updates from the Chamber Tourism and Marketing staff on media placements, web activity, visitor center statistics and other ongoing projects. When necessary, the committee splits off into work groups to assist with the travel guide, publication, attraction projects or other areas of special interest. If necessary, the Tourism and Marketing director will be bring any issues or concerns of the committee to the Board of Directors.
Meetings: The committee meets the 4th Tuesday of every month at 8:00 a.m. at Classic Chef's in Montour Falls.
